ABU DHABI– BRIDGE Summit 2025 has set the stage for a transformative shift in global media and technology as Archeo Futurus, Trillium Technologies and Daywalker Global confirmed a $200 million strategic partnership in Abu Dhabi.

The announcement positions the UAE as a new global epicentre for high-performance compute, cutting-edge media production and future-focused education. The agreement was revealed at a press conference titled “UAE: The New Hub of Compute, the Engine Powering the Evolution of Global Media, Tech and Education,” reflecting international confidence in the UAE’s expanding technological landscape.

Delivered by Kyle Barnette, CEO of Archeo Futurus, the announcement brought together key partners including Wesley Snipes, the noted film star and CEO of Daywalker Group; John Al Mansour, CEO of Treasures Petroleum North America and Partner at Archeo Futurus; and Danial Kluss, Chairman of Archeo Futurus. The partnership aims to generate long-term cultural, economic and technological value through enhanced compute capabilities and large-scale media operations.

Innovation plans

At the centre of the agreement is the creation of a Media and Technology Innovation Center in Abu Dhabi, scheduled to begin development in 2026. The facility will focus on hyper-efficient compute infrastructure, cloud platforms, artificial intelligence architectures and advanced media production capabilities. According to the partners, the complex will serve as a regional anchor for next-generation industries, with plans to integrate education, research and content creation into a single high-capacity ecosystem.

Alongside the infrastructure plans, the group confirmed its intention to film at least two major motion pictures in the UAE in 2025. This will expand the country’s growing profile as an international filmmaking destination and support the development of creative talent pipelines within the region.

To underpin the partnership’s compute-driven focus, the companies announced the establishment of Trillium Technologies and the launch of the first bond ever securitised by compute. The instrument is currently listed in both the United States and the Vienna Stock Exchange, marking a financial milestone within the emerging compute economy.

Strategic vision

Speaking at the Summit, Kyle Barnette described the significance of selecting Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE as the partnership’s global base. He highlighted the country’s alignment with advanced computing, film production and innovation-led education. Barnette emphasised the group’s long-term commitment to supporting local talent, expanding scientific collaboration and contributing to the UAE’s national vision for science and technology.

He added that the companies intend for the UAE to stand at the centre of a global platform for media, technology and education, noting the collaborative support received from Emirati partners, including Sheikh Abdulla Al Hamed.

Echoing this sentiment, John Al Mansour underscored the UAE’s position as a global leader in emerging technologies. He stated that the nation is not merely keeping pace with rapid technological shifts but shaping their direction through strategic investments in compute, artificial intelligence and media ecosystems. The partnership, he said, aims to support an environment where future industries take shape and where global expertise converges to build new economic sectors.

BRIDGE Summit 2025

The $200 million agreement stands out as one of BRIDGE Summit 2025’s most significant outcomes, creating new opportunities for investment, innovation and talent development across interconnected sectors. The Summit concluded on Wednesday with the UAE further solidifying its role as a global connector for media, technology and culture. The event featured a wide array of partnerships spanning content creation, artificial intelligence, robotics, youth capacity-building, global distribution networks, digital culture and advanced media ecosystems.

During the three-day event, more than 30 memorandums of understanding were signed, reinforcing the Summit’s position as the world’s largest debut media gathering. The volume and diversity of agreements reflect its ability to drive cross-border collaborations and unlock new commercial pathways, enhancing the UAE’s role as a global launchpad for future industries.

As BRIDGE Summit 2025 closed, the UAE’s standing as a strategic hub for next-generation media, high-performance computing and global innovation continued to strengthen, supported by significant international partnerships and growing investor confidence.
